Mark began his career at General Air Control in 1997 and became the firm’s President in 2022. Mark brought with him a strong background in electrical construction, which assisted him in quickly advancing in the test and balance field and obtaining his TBE status in 2007. After many years providing valuable field leadership as the Lead Technician, Mark transitioned into GAC’s estimating team in 2019 to work with clients in creating viable solutions for their needs. He strives to continue GAC’s establishment as a complete test and balance firm which offers a diverse selection of testing options. Mark believes that by continuing GAC’s culture of strong leadership, education & training, the GAC team will carry on in showcasing their talents and maintain their strong work ethic, dedication, and longstanding tenure in the field.

Project Manager, AABC Test & Balance Engineer, ACG CxADennis started working for GAC in 1993, bringing with him five years of TAB experience. Dennis has a keen understanding of both air and hydronic systems, which contributes to his success as both a Test and Balance Engineer and Commissioning Agent. In addition to these responsibilities, Dennis oversees project management and the scheduling of GAC field personnel. His cooperative attitude and dedicated work ethic has earned Dennis the respect of his team and colleagues.

Talena’s tenure with General Air Control began as an Administrative Assistant in 2008, and quickly grew in the following years to providing strong support in numerous areas of its operation; project management, field technician support, human resources & accounting, etc. In 2022, Talena and her husband Mark were presented with the amazing opportunity of purchasing GAC from its previous owners, Jon & Angie Ziegler. Talena is now administering all areas of the business management as well as business development. She looks forward to continuing GAC’s commitment to community involvement and excited to implement new ideas and add areas of service that will be made possible with her role at GAC.

Jon began working for the original founder of General Air Control, Joseph Gac in 1982. In 1994, he and his wife Angie made the momentous decision to purchase the company, running numerous locations over the years. They remained President & Vice-President until 2022 when they decided it was time to spend more quality time with their granddaughter and enter into the world of semi-retirement.
From the beginning, Jon and Angie desired to create a company that genuinely valued their clients and their employees. Their integrity and commitment to GAC created a desirable company to work for and helped distinguish GAC in the test and balance field. Angie and Jon have used their passion for helping others and given much of their time and sponsorship to positively impact both the industry and community in numerous critical areas. GAC is thankful to have their continued mentorship.
